Speaking

As a former full time university professor with a continuing affiliation with Howard University (Washington, DC), I am available to talk with you or your group as you work towards understanding some of these complex issues.

I recognize that, among ethnic minorities, involvement in intimate interracial relationships has often been an indicator of structural and political enfranchisement within society.

Focusing on the experiences of African American women --a group uniquely situated in American society-appropriately underscores the complex ways that African American women have successfully challenged the difficulties of their social and historical experiences.
